Bill's Real Pit Bar B.Q. - Rt 60 North

After "promenade" we head to the North end of Zanesville for some BBQ, Randy is in the mood for cucumbers and onions!!

We have never had a bad meal at Bill's, and tonight was no exception.

We start the meal with, THE Cucumbers and Onions, Homemade Potato Salad and Homemade Macaroni Salad. Nice all the way around!!!!

Randy orders the BBQ Beef Brisket, while it doesn't look to appealing, Randy says it is delicious!!

I ordered the 1/4 BBQ Chicken and Baked Potato, both were really good!

Our waitress Sam, was really nice, she checked on us often, making sure we had plenty of tea and soda, and that our meals were to our liking.

If you are looking for good BBQ in the Zanesville area, we would say "Bill's", you won't be disappointed!!!

Theo's - 632 Wheeling Ave., Cambridge, Ohio

Theo's - Downtown Cambridge- Est. 1931

A long time favorite is where we find lunch on Saturday...

Randy enjoys a French Onion Crock, and "Our Famous Coney Island Hotdog"-with mustard, onion, and "famous coney sauce".  The Coney dog was soooooo good he ordered a second.

I had a Charbroiled Marinated Chicken Breast, salad, and french fries.

The Pies at Theo's always look so good, and mile high!! So we decide to share a slice of Dutch Apple, the only disappointment - was because we were sharing the pie, our waitress split it for us and so the picture was not as we had hoped. The apples were crisp and the pie was good, the only improvement would have been if the pie had been warm.

The food at Theo's has never disappointed us, the presentation isn't always the best, but it is good eats!!

Our waitress Amanda, was very nice, I heard her talking to other customers, making suggestions!  Everyone was friendly, we also like the fact that there is no wall hiding the kitchen, and the staff are easily identifiable (love the shirts).

If you are in Cambridge, we would suggest stopping at Theo's!

Dish... are you hungry??  4/13/13

We had all seen this on the Food Channel and could not wait to try it! A  small place, with a PATIO, and we were ready to soak up some sunshine and some good food!  Late lunch here we come:

We begin with appetizers of Fried Green Tomatoes (with horseradish dill sauce) Randy really enjoyed them, Lori said the "sauce had a little kick".  And Deviled Eggs that were "good but not as good as Lori's".

~Randy orders the spicy Cajun Meatloaf served with mashed potato's & brown gravy, and a side of Potato Salad  -"Damn sure give you enough food"

~Robert also ordered the spicy Cajun Meatloaf served with mashed potato's & brown gravy, and a side of Black Beans - "Mmmmm"

This place is a hidden treasure, you gotta know it is there to enjoy it, you also need to be hungry- none of us were able to finish our meal!!!

Are waitress even sugggested a nap, she really knows her stuff!!!

There was also a nice area off the patio for dog lovers

Route 40 Roadhouse

Tonight's adventure was not a pleasant one...

After an 1.5 hour wait they brought Randy's -Steak Salad, (the steak and fries on the salad were both cold), and  tell us the tickets got messed up and my grilled chicken and Eli's grilled cheese would be out soon.

When they finally bring the rest of our meal, my fries are burnt to a crisp!!!  Eli's fries are so hot he can't eat them!

The waitress did her best, and I heard numerous people complaining- there was not much of a crowd so I just don't really understand what the issue was???

I don't see us going back for a long time, over 2 hours even with them taking my meal off the check- just does not make for these locals to return!!

Ted's Montana Grill

We we have decided to give this Blog thing another go....

Saturday lunch 4/6/13 takes us to Ted's Montana Grill - Arena District in Columbus!

As is standard at Ted's they serve "pickles" and we LOVE them, I mean 2-3 bowl's Love them! We have asked several times and learned they are "half pickled" pickles. And today our server even gave us a bowl full to take home to Randy's mom!  You have got to try them.

We also ordered Onion Rings as an appetizer,  we both agree they are the best we have had anywhere!

Randy orders Buffalo sliders - his favorite!

I ordered a Naked Burger with fries!

The service is always great at Ted's and today there was No wait, very unusual- but a place Randy does not waiting at!!

Price- totally worth it!!!
